Kran mask from Ivory Coast / Liberia, the zoomorphic face with triangular eyes, triangular nose, low, incised, overhanging forehead, and open mouth with thick lips. Pierced laterally for attachment. With old nail on upper margin and inventory number written in back (“NI5985”). Some encrusted areas. Provenance: from the Mark Isaacson and Greg Nacozy collection. Listed on the AHDRC archives (object ao-0176451-001).
