The Arts of the Benue River Valley

Fernandez Leventhal Gallery is pleased to announce, as part of its continuing special projects, an exhibition on the arts of the Benue River Valley of Nigeria.
The show, organized in collaboration with Martine Pinard, independent curator from Paris, opened on December 8th, 2012, at 6:00 pm at 8, rue de Bièvre, near Notre Dame, Metro Maubert-Mutualité.
During the opening reception, Ms. Pinard was joined by David Zemanek, auction house specialist from Zemanek-Münster, Wurzburg, to discuss this region’s intriguing artistic production.
