Luba Knife

Small, elegant Luba initiation knife from Democratic Republic of the Congo, the handle in the form of a woman with her hands brought together across her abdomen. She has a jutting navel, pendulous breasts, and fine facial features that include almond-shaped eyes, grooved mouth, and flattened headdress/coiffure. The blade beneath is mostly broken off. Lovely angles.
