• Until recently, the Fernandez Leventhal Gallery was located in Manhattan, visited only by appointment.  Now, after more than 14 years in business, selling privately, through the internet and trade shows, the Gallery has opened a Paris showroom at 8, rue de Bièvre, just meters away from Notre Dame.
  • The Gallery hopes to introduce the arts of Africa to a new generation of collectors. In so doing, it plans to host a series of educational talks and exhibits. The Gallery wishes to create a comfortable setting where enthusiasts can share their passions with like-minded people.
  • There will be something for every level of collecting, from the first time buyer to the experienced collector. All items are selected with care, screened for authenticity, quality and beauty.
  • With a different aesthetic (an American eye, actually), the Gallery will exhibit objects from varied cultures of west and central Africa, unlike the ones usually seen in other Paris venues.
  • The Gallery’s curated offerings have been painstakingly acquired over the years, purchased throughout the United States and Europe.
